Nick, I stumbled open your artwork by looking for pieces for my home. I was born in Anacortes when we lived on Whidby Island. I went to highschool in Ferndale from 1977-1980. Were you my principle? I love your paintings, especially the rocks and shells, because I will always have the Pacific Northwest saltwater running through my veins. I miss western Washington so much and hope to revisit in the future. I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Thank you, Adel. My brother lives on Vashon Island so when he goes on vacation sometimes my vacation is at his home. I have several Vashon Island paintings that are among my favorites.

Thank you so much, Linda, for your appreciative comments. The rocks in this painting were selected and arranged to show the beautiful variety. The process of selection was easy because there are so many rocks from which to choose.

i simply adore this painting. as a life-long "beach walker", i too appreciate the beauty of rocks found on a beach. you have captured every vein and subtle color variation.. not one like the other. it is as though i can reach out and pick them out of the painting itself.

I love rocks! Your amazing rock paintings remind me of walking on a beach and looking for interesting rock. Beach combing is such a good way to relax.
